Filmmaker Has Explanation For Trump’s Girthy Waistline, Reveals Ex-President Went Through “Withdrawals” After Losing His Beloved Twitter Account, Became “Incredibly Depressed” And “Put On A Lot Of Weight”

This is pathetic.

British documentary filmmaker Alex Holder — who spent a significant amount of time with Donald Trump and his family during the final weeks and months of his presidency, as part of Holder’s documentary film, Unprecedented, and has even heavily assisted the January 6th House Select Committee with their ongoing investigation — has been ripe with the juicy revelations about the washed-up, scandal-ridden former guy and the inner workings of his White House and personal life.

Just recently, we reported here on Holder’s revelations during an AMA event on Reddit, in which he exposed some of the awkward secrets of the dynamics and relationships between the former president’s children and even spilled the tea on Donald’s morning makeup habits.

But the Huffington Post has now zeroed in on a recent interview Holder conducted with The Bulwark Podcast, during which the British filmmaker touched on a meeting he had with Donald Trump in March of 2021, in the direct aftermath of the former guy’s desperate, illegal attempts to stay in power where he did not rightfully belong.

Holder said on the podcast that, in the wake of his brutal, humiliating election loss, the filmmaker noticed a discernable difference in the former president’s physical appearance in his new post-White House life.

“He looked terrible, he’d put on a lot of weight,” Holder said. “He was incredibly depressed.”

But it was the filmmaker’s explanation as to why Trump was so deeply depressed and letting himself go that really turned our heads a bit.

“The reason for all of that was because he was going through a real withdrawal from not being able to use Twitter,” he explained. “Yeah, I promise. I mean, that’s literally what his closest aide said to me. He was in the most terrible foul mood because he couldn’t use social media.”

Of course, the disgraced former president has made a “comeback” on social media in the months since his Twitter demise, after he created his own new social media platform, Truth Social, where no one could kick him off. However, the platform is positively floundering and getting worse with each passing day and is only used now by the former guy to peddle QAnon memes and conspiracy theories and launch relentless attacks against the FBI and DOJ.
