First Lady’s Chief Of Staff Reportedly Commented On Melania’s RNC Speech From The Rose Garden: “The White House Is Mrs. Trump’s And She Wanted To Speak From There Tonight”

It's not your house, lady.

First Lady Melania Trump plans to deliver an address from the newly renovated Rose Garden of the White House on Tuesday as the Republican National Convention continues for a second day even though the GOP may be violating ethics laws. But, Republicans keep doing this anyway.

“Trump giving his convention speech on the South Lawn is the clearest conceivable violation of the Hatch Act,” Richard Stengel, a former Obama administration official, wrote on Twitter. “[Hundreds] of White House staffers would be violating it, not to mention charges of criminal appropriation of Congressional funds for political purposes.” Stengel has been calling out the Trump administration over unprecedented moves.

Since 1789, the federal government has provided a house for the president to host visiting dignitaries, conduct matters of state, and greet citizens — it is the people’s house. It’s a temporary residence for a sitting president. But, Melania and Donald seem to be of the notion that the White House is their house.

First lady Melania Trump’s chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham, said that the White House is Mrs. Trump’s.

A specific person doesn’t own the White House. Again, it is the people’s house, and she lives there temporarily. And we’re back once again where we wonder how many Fox News heads would explode if Mrs. Obama had said this while her husband was in office. To the Trumps, rules, and norms don’t apply to them. That’s for everyone else. And frankly, watching this family walk to the helicopter in January as they vacate the people’s house will be the cause of house parties springing up across the United States as Americans celebrate while breathing a sigh of relief that this grifting and divisive family is off the premises.

Melania is the most useless first lady this country has ever had. Instead of making changes with the Rose garden, she should have been packing her five-inch hooker heels to get ready for the big move in January.
