Controversial Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene doesn’t seem to serve much of a purpose in Congress. In February, the House of Representatives voted to strip the Georgia Republican of her committee assignments, following an uproar over her past incendiary comments and support of violence against Democrats. And since then, Marjorie Three Names has appeared to throw all of her efforts into an anti-Biden fantasy-land; where the president is impeached, as well as the vice-president, and of course, she wants our nation’s top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, fired amid the raging pandemic. She doesn’t offer much of a reason to impeach President Joe Biden, aside from her feelings being hurt over Donald Trump losing the election.
That’s not how it works, though. You have to have a reason first. And Biden pulling our troops out of Afghanistan just like Trump wanted to do, is not a good reason. Greene has offered nothing while she’s been in Congress. Absolutely nothing. She merely seems to exist to seek attention for herself. But that’s not how she tells the story.
On Steve Bannon’s show, Greene said, “I have been the most effective Member of Congress this session.”
