Forbes broke reporting early this morning, confirming that New York Attorney General Letitia James’ bombshell lawsuit against scandal-ridden ex-President Trump has exposed the former real estate “mogul’s” flagship New York City Trump Tower as “something of a fraud.”
Forbes reporter Dan Alexander draws specific attention to the fact that Donald Trump’s monumental NYC Trump Tower serves as the epicenter of the attorney general’s accusations that the corrupt former president has long been consistently manipulating and misrepresenting the value of his properties and assets in an effort to acquire more favorable tax breaks and bank loans.
Alexander added to this fact with some research and sleuthing of his own into the matter of the New York City Trump Tower and reported on the rather interesting things he discovered.
“Property records show that the real estate mogul has been lying about the financial performance of the building since it first opened in 1983,” Alexander writes in his explosive report. “Tax and lending documents indicate that Trump lied about the square footage of the office and retail space at the base of the property.”

Forbes went on to further publish a 2015 audio recording that seems to prove that Trump “was personally involved in the efforts to lie about the value of Trump Tower’s commercial space.”
At the center of it all is a 2015 valuation by Trump, of his Trump Tower property, finding the business worth $881 million. Alexander discovered that this staggering valuation was determined by a clear manipulation of the building’s total square footage, as well as lying about the amount of square footage in the building that was viable retail and office space.
Alexander confirms that, altogether, Trump “inflated the value of his property by an estimated $400 million.”
It’s truly only a matter of time now before the force of the New York Attorney General comes down on Donald Trump’s head.
