You know that say, “Birds of a feather flock together”? Well, it’s officially come full circle when it comes to the relationship between Donald Trump and Fox News Network.

We’ve known for decades now that Donald J. Trump is a rapist. And he has quite the tendency to surround himself with fellow rapists — i.e. Jeffrey Epstein.

And now, according to a new lawsuit filed against a former Fox News reporter we may have a good clue as to why Trump has such an obsession with the conservative network — as it looks like some of his best Fox News friends are rapists too.

In a complaint filed with the New York federal court today, a former reporter and associate producer who also came on as a frequent guest has lodged brutally stomach-churning sexual-assault allegations against former host Ed Henry in addition to allegations of sexual harassment against current personalities with the network and longtime Trump friends Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, and Howard Kurtz.

According to The Daily Beast, in the complaint, Jennifer Eckhart, who served as a reporter on Fox News for several years and hosted America’s Newsroom, was fired from her position for what the network labeled as “willful sexual misconduct.” Eckhart claims in the complaint that Henry raped, assaulted, and “performed sadistic acts on her without her consent that left her injured, bruised and battered with bloody wrists.”

Attorney Douglas Wigdor announced the filing of the lawsuit, saying, “What this lawsuit reveals is that today’s Fox News is the same old Fox News. Some of the names in leadership may have changed since Roger Ailes’ regime, but Fox News’ institutional apathy towards sexual misconduct has not.”

Eckhart’s complaint alleged that Henry, who is married, “groomed, psychologically manipulated and coerced” her into a sexual relationship with him, in which he referred to her as his “sex slave.”

The lawsuit also states that “when she would not comply voluntarily, [Henry] sexually assaulted her on office property, and raped her at a hotel where Fox News frequently lodged its visiting employees.”

In addition to Eckhart’s experiences outlined in the lawsuit, journalist Cathy Areu was also allegedly the victim of brutal sexual harassment at the hands of personalities like Sean Hannity.

The lawsuit claims that Areu appeared on Hannity’s show on March 8, 2018, and the Fox host “threw $100 on the set desk. He then began calling out to the men in the room and demanding that someone take Ms. Areu out on a date for drinks at Del Friscos. He repeatedly yelled ‘who wants to take her on a date?’ ‘Take her on a date to Del Friscos.’ Ms. Areu was completely mortified and made clear that she was incredibly uncomfortable with Mr. Hannity’s misogynistic behavior by quietly pleading with one of her friends in the room to accept the money so that the humiliation would end.”

“To make matters worse,  Ms. Areu was ‘stuck’ and could not even leave because Mr. Hannity engaged in this conduct while she was ‘hooked into’ studio equipment that could only have been removed by a stagehand,” the lawsuit continues.

Areu experienced similar harassment during a December 2018 appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show during which she claims Carlson demanded that she stay on set after her segment and “hardly making any effort to hide his intentions, began telling Ms. Areu that he would be alone in New York City that night, and specifically said that he would be staying alone in his hotel room without any wife or kids.”

Frankly, it’s not hard to see why Donald Trump gets along so well with these people.
