Former Official Revealed What Trump Said To White House Aides About His "Legacy"

I’ll be honest with you — I’ve always operated under the assumption that Donald Trump is looking to truly leave his mark on this nation. I always felt that the man wanted to go down in history books, his name spoken for decades to come, whether good or bad. I always just assumed, based on his ego alone, that the man wanted to leave a legacy in his wake. Even if it is in the style of Adolf Hitler.

However, according to one of his former officials, I was way off the mark.

Donald Trump’s former campaign aide and communications director Anthony Scaramucci sat down with CNN’s Chris Cuomo today and revealed that his old boss actually doesn’t give a rat’s behind about the legacy he leaves in the White House.

Sitting down on CNN for a panel with Cuomo and former Trump lawyer Jim Schultz, Scaramucci explained that the history of it all only matters to those who are left in Donald’s dust and discussed the fake, dangerous, and ridiculous propaganda that the outgoing president has been peddling in regard to the election.

“Listen, it’s terrible. Jim knows this because we did work together briefly in the office,” Scaramucci said. “Jim was a hockey goalie taking shots on net of all this insanity and breaking them with great diplomacy. There is nobody like Jim left in the White House right now.”

“So the president wants to transact,” the former Trump official continued. “He wants to make money. He does not care about his legacy. He has told people privately, ‘Why do I care about my legacy? I’ll be dead.’ So, he’s looking at the next two, three weeks; how am I going to make money off this? How is this going to be good for me, post-presidency? Is there a chance I could still stay in the presidency? Ron Johnson and Rand Paul think there is a lot of unproven fraud. So, he’s listening to those people, Chris. But trust me, this is all transactional from here until January 20th.”

I truly believed that Donald Trump wanted to be memorialized as some American Dear Leader when this was all said and done. But as it turns out, as is pretty typical when it comes to Donald Trump, the truth was even worse than what I thought.
