Trump is scared. Truly scared.

Over the last several years, both during and following his long, tumultuous presidency, there have been countless tell-all books penned about Donald Trump. From former insiders to ex-staffers, to world-renowned, Pultizer-Prize-winning journalists — many a person has taken a stab at penning an opus on the most embarrassing, humiliating, and disastrous thing that’s ever happened to this nation.

All of them have had their own stories to tell, have come complete with their own appalling, hilarious, and sometimes terrifying stories about the 45th President of the United States — and Trump himself has always had something to say about each and every one of them.

But one upcoming tell-all, in particular, has seemingly elicited a reaction from the one-term, twice-impeached former president that we’ve never truly seen before.

Fear.

Ex-President Trump’s former Communications Director Alyssa Farah recently made an appearance on ABC’s The View, where she told the panel and viewers that she believes her old boss is “terrified” of New York Time’s White House reporter Maggie Haberman’s upcoming book, Confidence Man, according to a new report from Business Insider.

Farah’s theory comes on the heels of the new claim that Trump staffers believed the now-ex-president was responsible for continually clogging a toilet in the White House by trying to flush away various wads of ripped up presidential documents, following a report from Axios who obtained an advanced copy of Haberman’s upcoming tell-all, ahead of its scheduled October release date.

“I still talk to some folks in Trumpworld, the ones who have not engaged in criminality,” Farah told The View hosts today. “The former president is terrified of Maggie Haberman’s book. This is the first big anecdote, but there is quite a bit more to come.”

Co-host Joy Behar questioned whether Trump was equally as apprehensive and scared about similar books such as Bob Woodward and Robert Costa’s Peril, but Farah said Maggie’s extensive experience covering Trump for both the New York Times and the New York Post leaves the ex-president far more nervous about Haberman’s book than any of those to come before it.

“She’s covered him for decades, I’m very interested to see what else” is coming, the former Trump official said.

Haberman has maintained a peculiar relationship with Donald Trump over the years, giving her an apparent level of personal insider access that other tell-all publishers have not had.

Frankly, it truly comes as no surprise that Trump is terrified that Maggie is about to truly expose him, for better or worse.
