Fox News Anchor Interrupts A Real-Time Alert About The Brooklyn Subway Massacre To Rail Against Biden’s Gun Control And We Couldn’t Make Up The Disgusting Irony If We Tried

The nerve of these people.

This morning, America faced down yet another instance of what feels like endless gun violence in this country, when a man who was reportedly dressed as a construction worker, in a gas mask and a green construction vest, allegedly threw a smoke canister into a crowded Brooklyn subway car to distract the rush hour crowd that was trapped in the car like fish in a barrel, before opening fire on the passengers inside.

According to reports, at least 16 people were shot or injured in some way by the gunman and his attack. Thus far, no fatalities have been reported, but at least 5 of the gunshot victims are considered to be in critical condition.

But Fox Business is more concerned about President Biden’s gun control efforts.

During a segment today, a breaking news “alert” regarding the Brooklyn subway shooting came through as the network talking heads chattered through way through their typical Right-wing nonsense. But Fox Business host Stuart Varney took this a step too far when he blatantly interrupted this crucial alert to instead rail against the United States president and the mere notion of pretty much any form of gun control in this country — while a literal manhunt was underway, as authorities tried to find and detain the shooter.

As the “Fox Business Alert” graphics came across the screen, calling the Brooklyn subway shooting “breaking news,” Varney chugged right along, all the same, asking for host Brian Kilmeade’s opinion of a recently proposed rule that would serve to curb the use of “ghost guns” that do not have trackable serial numbers.

“Bearing in mind the situation that is developing in New York City right now, what’s your reaction to the president’s crackdown on ghost guns?” Varney questioned. “That was what he was all about yesterday afternoon. He went to great lengths on ghost guns! Your reaction?”

Kilmeade wasted no time in joining in on his fellow host’s complaint, whining, “The ghost guns is such an insult. It’s like blaming the car for a drunk driver. Yeah, ghost guns are a problem. Of course! If you have an unmarked gun that was put together with parts, yeah. But guess what, Stuart? You could order a ghost gun right now, you’re not going to shoot anybody! I’m not shooting anybody!”

“Most of our audience can get a ghost gun and not have it registered, but you’re not going to be killing anybody,” Kilmeade went on to add.

Varney went on to go so far as to literally blame President Biden for the growing number of guns in the United States.

“The president goes out yesterday and hammers ghost guns and then says he wants to go further,” he said. “The result of that will be probably a million Americans will go out and buy their first gun. That’s exactly what’s going to happen.”

Kilmeade went a step further still when he drew a comparison between gun control to Covid-19 lockdowns worldwide.

“In Shanghai, they basically jailed 25 million people for testing positive and being asymptomatic so, uh, the first thing they do is disarm you in society,” Brian fumed. “And then they take over your life. And in Australia, believe it or not, I’ve never seen such a vicious crackdown on the pandemic from what they did in Australia!”

“And I’m not saying they wouldn’t have done it if they had guns, but I’m telling you the American people will never be disarmed!”

“The Second Amendment makes America a unique country,” Varney ended. “And that’s one of the reasons I’m here.”
