Ever since Fox News called the state of Arizona in favor of Joe Biden earlier than just about anyone else in the 2020 presidential election, Conservatives have had beef with the right-wing network. It seems they feel that Fox News just isn’t Conservative enough anymore, and many of them have traded in their love for Fox for admiration and views for their competitors such as Newsmax and One America News Network (OANN.)
And this particular incident, I can tell you now, didn’t do the Trump-loving network any favors.
Yesterday, Fox host Gillian Turner entertained two guests, former White House Director of Strategic Communications Mercedes Schlapp and Democratic strategist Chris Hahn and the two guests ended up in what can only be described as a screaming match when Hahn was quick to show that he was not afraid to challenge not only the former Trump official but the whole of Conservatives as well.
The conversation was kicked off with a discussion regarding a potential system to keep track of which Americans have been vaccinated against the coronavirus. The fight first got its legs when Schlapp attacked the “illogical mentality of the left” for supporting the concept of vaccine passports while firmly opposing efforts by Republicans to restrict voting rights.

Hahn wasn’t having it and was sure to point out to the former Trump official that it is the private sector, not the Biden administration, that’s pushing the concept of these passports.
“Republicans, like everything else they’ve done during this horrible crisis we’ve been through, are pushing these conspiracy theories that the government is trying to control you, which is causing some of their followers not to get vaccinated,” Hahn slammed.
He went on to lay the blame for conspiracy theories and the danger to public health right at the feet of Schlapp and Tucker Carlson, which evidently flipping Schlapp’s shouty switch.
“Chris, I am not gonna take this from you,” the former Trump official yelled. “You are not gonna call me a liar! You are not gonna call me a conspiracy theorist. You are not gonna call Tucker Carlson a conspiracy theorist!”
“He is!” Hahn snapped back. “He is, and you are.”
Schlapp seemed to fall back on the only GOP talking points she knows, “This is what the Democrats do! Hey, keep calling us names, we’re not putting up with this! I stand for freedom! I stand for freedom of the American people every single day!”
“No, you don’t. You’re a grifter,” Hahn responded. “This is ridiculous.”
