Fox’s Jeanine Pirro Demands Student Borrowers Pay Back Their Loan Debt, Despite Her Own Failed Senate Campaign Allegedly Owing Staggering $600,000 For More Than A Decade

Well, well, well... What do you know?

Well, folks, Fox News is big mad over the mere idea of student loan debt being forgiven in the United States. But this time, their rant is coming chock full of a level of hypocrisy that’s absolutely astounding, even for them.

One of President Joe Biden’s platform promises during the 2020 presidential campaign, was his pledge to forgive at least $10,000 worth of student loan debt from each and every borrower in America. To be completely frank, it’s not a campaign promise that the president has been able to make good on quite yet, though he has continually extended the moratorium on debt repayments amid the pandemic. But, Biden is just barely past his first year in office and many Democrats are still highly hopeful that the president will pull through in erasing some of that crippling debt.

And it’s sending Jeanine Pirro into an absolute tizzy.

This week, Fox’s The Five panel once again took aim at the notion of student loan forgiveness, with a particularly crazed cameo from good ole Judge Jeanine.

“Let me just finally say this,” Pirro said during the segment. “This asinine ‘I wanna pay off student debt’ is an insult to the senior citizens, to the people who pay taxes, to people who decide, you know, ‘Do I wanna buy meat this week or pay for my medicine?’ That’s hogwash. You’ve got so many jobs, you’ve got a great economy? Let ’em work and pay off their bills – just the way all of us do. That’s the end of it.”

Jeanine very dramatically pointed at her own self when saying “just the way all of us do.”

But as it turns out, Jeanine Pirro actually does not “work and pay off” her bills or debts, “just the way all of us do.” In fact, she apparently leaves massive, 6-digit debts just sitting around collecting dust and interest for literal decades.

Reports indicate that Jeanine Pirro’s failed 2006 Senate campaign has owed at least $600,000 to 20 different vendors as recently as 2019.

Pirro ran for a NY Senate seat on the Republican ticket (of course) back in 2006, but ultimately dropped out of the race before the primary elections. She then switched to run for NY Attorney General, and made it to the Republican nominee, but ultimately lost her bid to Democratic opponent Andrew Cuomo.

Pirro has since tried to have her failed campaign dissolved but has been shut down by the Federal Elections Commission which said the campaign must pay up its outstanding debts before it can be done away with.

A 2019 letter from the FEC reads, “The failure to timely file a complete report may result in civil money penalties, an audit or legal enforcement action. The civil money penalty calculation for late reports does not include a grace period and begins on the day following the due date for the report.”

Just earlier this month, Pirro railed against student loan borrowers once more, stating, “If you can’t pay it, that’s your problem.”

While it’s unclear whether Pirro’s massive campaign debt has been paid up since the last reporting in 2019, it’s certainly crystal clear that the “judge” does not practice what she preaches.
