Gov. Ron DeSantis Whose State Is Reportedly Experiencing Record COVID Hospitalizations Tells President Biden: “Why Don’t You Do Your Job?”

Is he trying to be edgy?

President Joe Biden has been laser-focused on defeated COVID-19 while Republicans seem to be on the disease’s side of the battle. Former President Donald Trump surrendered to the coronavirus without even putting up a fight, and somehow, his Republican enablers were OK with that. The Biden administration, with help from the public, was finally containing the spread of the coronavirus. Still, anti-vax Trump supporters refused to assist in helping to stop the disease from spreading, so we’re back to the beginning. Trump unleashed the Karens, who refuse to wear a simple protective face mask, so now we’re truly screwed.

Speaking of Karens, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) said on Tuesday that his state would not shut down again despite a record-breaking number of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. Florida is now the nation’s new virus epicenter. DeSantis also gave out an order barring schools from implementing mask requirements for kids. The Republican governor is literally on COVID’s side of the war.

On Thursday, DeSantis suggested that the reason for the COVID-19 surge in Florida was due to immigrants coming in from the southern border. DeSantis is trying to shift the blame, obviously, and he blamed President Joe Biden.

“Joe Biden has taken to himself to try to single out Florida over COVID,” DeSantis insisted. “He’s imported more virus from around the world by having a wide-open Southern border.”

“Why don’t you do your job?” DeSantis added. “Why don’t you get this border secure? And until you do that, I don’t wanna hear a blip about COVID from you, thank you.”

Watch:

I’ll just leave this here.

DeSantis’s poll numbers have taken a hit amid the COVID surge in the Sunshine State. So maybe, and just stay with me here, DeSantis should do his job by keeping his constituents alive. What a wild concept, huh?
