Disgraced ex-President Donald Trump has once again found himself at the center of a heaping helping of scandal after it was revealed today that there was a conveniently mysterious seven-hour gap in White House phone logs procured by the House Select Committee regarding communications made on January 6th, 2020, the day of the infamous, violent Capitol attack.
Now, it seems Trump’s own handwritten notes that were included on documents previously acquired by the House panel from the National Archives may actually reveal the identity of the “unknown person” who was on the receiving end of the last recorded phone call Donald Trump made on that fateful day, just before the insurrection began, and before his records went dark for several hours.
The Washington Post managed to obtain and release Trump White House call logs that were handed over to the January 6th House Select Committee by the National Archives that showed a mysterious gap, ultimately consisting of seven hours and 37 minutes, between 11:17 a.m. and 6:54 p.m. on January 6th, 2020. According to these logs, the last call Trump made at 11:17 a.m., before the records go dark, was to an “unidentified individual.” The next recorded phone call in the White House call logs was at 6:54 p.m. when Donald Trump instructed the operator to call Dan Scavino.
However, we recently reported on a different set of documents that were obtained by the House panel, that were complete with some of Trump’s handwritten notes at the top of the page. These White House documents seem to reveal that the “unidentified individual” Trump called right before the 7+ hour gap in records was actually then-Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler at 11:17 a.m. This phone call reportedly took place just 3 minutes before Donald Trump’s true final phone call to his Vice President Mike Pence, which has been previously reported on but was not recorded in the White House call logs that were turned over to the House committee.
NOTE: The 11:17am call to an “unidentified” person appears to be Kelly LOEFFLER, based on this previously released document from the National Archives. https://t.co/toxChYkKER pic.twitter.com/iBoDyEv5Bw

Then-Senator Loeffler, during a campaign rally just two days prior, had publicly pledged to object to the certification of Joe Biden’s election win. However, she changed her mind following the Capitol insurrection.
In addition to the issues outlined here, a phone call with Rep. Jim Jordan, an extremely heated exchange with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and communications with Sen. Tommy Tuberville also were not recorded on the White House call logs.
