Truth Social, Donald Trump’s social network, was created between his two presidencies, when Trump had been banned from Twitter, Facebook, and other social platforms, leaving him without an outlet for his social media missives. Trump has continued to use the platform during his second presidency, even though the other networks long ago let him back on.
However, one challenge has been that there’s little reason to use Truth Social other than reading Trump’s own posts. Most recently, Trump’s company launched a highly questionable scheme to charge users for early access to his posts.
And it appears now that the site is bleeding users.

According to the Daily Beast, which cited the digital market intelligence company SimilarWeb, the site’s “daily active users have plummeted from 436,000 in July 2025 to only 261,000 one year later.” That’s compared to 130 million active users on X, and over 2 billion on Facebook.
A White House spokesman denied the assertion.
“TRUTH Social is the most powerful and popular social media platform in the world because it serves as President Trump’s authentic voice, where he communicates directly with the American people and the world without the biased media taking him out of context,” White House spokesperson Davis Ingle told the Beast.
