Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany took issue with the coverage her successor is getting. However, McEnany was a paid liar, so Americans find Jen Psaki refreshing after the previous four years. And it wasn’t just McEnany, but Sean Spicer and Sarah Huckabee Sanders tried to gaslight Americans, too. McEnany responded on ‘OutNumbered’ to reports that photographer Annie Leibovitz was at the White House to photograph Psaki. McEnany didn’t take that news very well.
“Instead of the glowing profiles, there were hit pieces repeatedly, time and time again,” McEnany said.
“It’s just so sad that you have a fawning press corps like this, a fawning media sycophantically covering members of the Biden administration,” McEnany continued to say. “We need investigative journalism. We don’t need fawning coverage. It doesn’t do the American people any justice.”

McEnany lied to the American people amid the raging pandemic, and that is unforgivable, but it appears that she is upset that the press didn’t coddle her. And her boss, former President Donald Trump, repeatedly called the press the “enemy of the people,” so she shouldn’t have expected glowing reports after that.
