We are sick and tired of the Trumps, okay?
Look, I get it, we’re on home stretch with just a few more weeks left until Joe Biden finally swoops in and saves the day and the country and it seems like we’d be able to just hush our mouths this holiday season with such promising things on the horizon. We’ve dealt with it this long, right? What’s a few more weeks? A lot. The answer is… A lot. A few more weeks is A LOT.
This sorry excuse for a presidential administration will undoubtedly go down in history as four of the hardest, most heartbreaking, most tiresome, and troubling four years in our lifetime and, frankly, we’re over it. We are tired. We are lonely. We have lost so much. We miss our family and friends. And the impending Biden presidency is quite literally the only thing holding a lot of us together. So, suffice it to say that, while we know Donald Trump has a few more legal weeks in the power of the presidency ahead of him, we are far and beyond past the point of pleasantries with these people. We understand the laws, that’s why we haven’t dragged them, kicking and screaming, from the White House a few weeks early. But we certainly do not have to indulge their nonsense when it comes to holiday photos and tweets where they attempt to pass themselves off as decent human beings.
So, when Ivanka took to her Twitter account yesterday with a photo of herself, her husband and children, and her daddy dearest, it came as no surprise that pretty much no one was impressed. They were just done.
“Merry Christmas!” Ivanka simply captioned the family photo:

But instead of a comments section full of well wishes for the holidays, as I’m sure the outgoing First Daughter was hoping for, the response to her tweet was far less welcoming and/or full of holiday cheer:
My Christmas wish is that you get what you deserve in 2021.

Ivanka’s kids enjoy the unique privilege of being in a family where 1 grand pa Pardoned the other grand pa and that grand pa himself will need to be pardoned as well

do you realize voters are spending Christmas waiting in food lines instead of with their families?

You know what, I get it, you’re trying to soak up that last ounce or two of relevance while you still can. But it’s over lady. The best thing you can do is go out quietly and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to get a receptionist job somewhere.
