Donald Trump’s longtime chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg is the subject of a criminal tax probe over questionable financial activity linked to the former president and the Trump Organization. Weisselberg has described himself as the “eyes and ears” of the Trump Organization, but somehow, Ivanka Trump claimed that she didn’t know his title during a deposition. Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, the former close friend of Melania Trump, who penned a best-selling book about her relationship with the former first lady, tweeted out a copy of the deposition.
Then, former fixer and personal attorney for Donald Trump responded to say that Ivanka was taught well by her father by feigning ignorance. Ivanka was asked during the deposition, “Who is Allen Weisselberg?”
Ivanka Trump said, “He is the — I would have to see what his — his. I don’t know what his exact job title is, but he’s an executive at the company.”

Weissselberg is said to have “bowed” to Donald Trump, and they’ve known each other for years, but sure, princess, you go with that. Prosecutors are reportedly trying to flip Weisselberg to gain his cooperation as a witness against the former president and his company. And if anyone knows where the bodies are buried, it’s Weisselberg.
According to Weisselberg’s former daughter-in-law, Jennifer Weisselberg, Trump and his CFO were virtually inseparable when they worked down the hall from each other on the 26th floor of Trump Tower. She has said that she believes her former father-in-law’s testimony would be damning if he cooperates with investigators, according to The Hill. Meaning, he knows a lot about what goes on in the Trump Organization. Adding to that, former Trump Organization executive Barbara Res said that she believes that Weisselberg has already flipped on Trump.
“I think Weisselberg is very concerned about his kids,” Res said. “I think that what they’re doing is the kind of thing they did with [disgraced retired Lt. Gen. Michael] Flynn. Remember his kid? I don’t think Weisselberg will let his son go to jail. So that’s what he’s doing.”
So, we’re supposed to believe that Ivanka didn’t know this man’s title even though he had an inseparable relationship with her father, and he’s the CFO of the Trump Organization. Sounds legit.
