Ivanka Trump is going to find herself with a lot on her plate with New York Attorney General Letitia James targeting her as well as the Jan. 6 committee investigating the deadly attack on the Capitol by a mob of her father’s supporters. According to Politico, Chairman Bennie Thompson said on Thursday that the panel would soon ask Ivanka to come before the committee.

“You will anticipate the committee inviting some people to come talk to us,” he said, adding, “not lawmakers right now — Ivanka Trump.”

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) — the committee’s vice-chair — said earlier this month that the panel had testimony about the daughter of Donald Trump.

“I think it’s also important for the American people to understand how dangerous Donald Trump was,” Cheney said, explaining that the panel was aware that many people on Jan. 6 were “pleading with him to go on television, to tell people to stop.”

“We know [Minority] Leader [Kevin] McCarthy was pleading with him to do that. We know members of his family, we know his daughter,” she continued. “We have firsthand testimony that his daughter Ivanka went in at least twice to ask him to please stop this violence.”

“The committee’s forthcoming invitation to Ivanka Trump is not the first sign that its investigators are eyeing the former president’s family,” the outlet reports. “Last week, the panel subpoenaed two of Donald Trump Jr.’s longtime advisers.”

This week, the panel subpoenaed Eric Trump and Kimberly Guilfoyle — Don Jr’s fiancée — for their phone records, and the committee has obtained them.

This week, we also learned that Eric Trump is so afraid of incriminating himself that he invoked the Fifth Amendment 500 times in six hours with James’s office.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court dealt a significant blow to Donald Trump, ruling that the former President can no longer prevent the House Select Committee investigating the Capitol riots from accessing key Jan. 6 documents. Two separate investigations are targeting not only the twice-impeached one-term President but also his adult children.

The question is, will any of Trump’s children flip on him?
