JD Vance Melts Down After Moderator Fact-Checks Him During Debate: ‘The Rules Were You Guys Weren’t Going To Fact Check’

How dare they fact-check his lies!

Brennan made a brief clarification that got Vance all out of sorts. This was subsequently noted by @KamalaHQ. Brennan noted, “just to clarify, Springfield’s Haitian migrants have legal status.”

There was a flood of words and Vance interjected, in a huffy voice, “The rules were you guys weren’t going to fact check.”

Now, I don’t know where Mr. “Gads those Haitians are eating cats and dogs in Springfield,” got this idea but if a presidential or vice presidential debate isn’t fact-checked, then it’s a debate that no rational, thinking person should take seriously. Other social media users seemed to share the same opinion.

@BDNTWLGIO observed:

“Trump and Vance won’t do anything where they might be fact checked. That alone should tell people everything they need to know about them”

Trump knows he bombed the debate against Kamala Harris and he’s trying hard as he can to avoid a command performance.

@LostMyDisguise added “Stop interrupting my lies! I want to use this global platform to spread lies, hate, and religious dogma!”

Trump has made it clear that he thinks the election is all about him and him only but Vance has gone the religious route, placing more importance on the lives of the unborn.

But the person who wrote this is correct and hits the nail right on the head:

“This moment exposes the deeper issue of Vance prioritizing inflammatory rhetoric over facts,” quipped@feedfluxdigital. “His refusal to engage with the reality that these migrants have legal status illustrates his reliance on false narratives to stoke fear and division within his constituency.”

@Watchdogsniffer observed:

“Like, ‘the rules are that I can lie and no one will call me on my lies.’ That is some fantasyland internal thinking by Vance.”

Vance surprised me this time around because he actually sounded somewhat erudite. But Walz held his own quite well. Vance, on the other hand, has offended plenty of women with his obvious disrespect towards us. He clearly values the lives of unborn babies over adult women’s lives and that has especially stirred up a hornet’s nest.

@venetianblonde smacked him a good one with this:

“This whining shining bloat disaster: he’s so terrible and slimy. Currently hanging out all women to dry and suffer and not be in charge of their own bodies. Tim Walz:

‘Had Amber Thurman lived in Minnesota…..’ yes, she would likely still be alive.”

He even pissed off The Lincoln Project by being caught in a big, fat lie. During the debate, Vance claimed ‘No I don’t support a national abortion ban.”

Also JD Vance:

So, that’s a little, um…awkward.

But then Vance has been nothing BUT awkward since he was nominated for the second-highest office in the land. He sort of held his own during the debate, but quite clearly Walz came out the winner here. I don’t think there’s any question about that.
