President Biden’s Press Secretary Jen Psaki certainly is nothing like her recent predecessors. She isn’t a paid liar like Sarah Sanders, Sean Spicer, and Kayleigh McEnany. Psaki is a breath of fresh air after the previous four long years with Donald Trump at the helm. And she’s not bad at trolling the previous administration. Psaki was asked about the twice-impeached one-term president’s announcement that he launched class-action lawsuits against Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.

Psaki was very clear that the former president isn’t a focus of the current administration, and she appeared to take a shot at Trump’s obsession with social media.

“I think it’s safe to say that the President spends a lot less time obsessing over social media than the former President,” she said. Psaki also said that “it’s a decision for the platforms to make.”

Watch:

What a difference from the previous administration. Just last month, the former guy released a bonkers statement, obviously still focused on the fact that he was deplatformed for inciting the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection. The former president praised the Nigerian government after indefinitely suspending Twitter after the social media platform deleted a controversial tweet that President Muhammadu Buhari made. That’s all it took for Trump to weigh in with a statement. Trump, of course, called on countries to block Twitter just as Nigeria did. Then, Trump said that he should have banned Twitter as the Nigerian government did.

“Perhaps I should have done it while I was President,” Bloaty McBatshit added at the time. “But Zuckerberg kept calling me and coming to the White House for dinner telling me how great I was. 2024?”

And now we have a president who doesn’t air his petty grievances or seek to shut down companies simply because his feelings are hurt. Adults are finally in charge again. Biden is capable of handling vaccine distribution, among other things, because he’s not concentrating on issues that don’t affect the country. Like Twitter and Facebook, for example.  Amen.
