Jen Psaki Publicly Agrees With The President’s Sentiment, Fox’s Peter Doocy Can Certainly Sound Like A “Son Of A B*tch,” But Shares A “Nice” Story About Him Anyway During Podcast Appearance

I think they have a love/hate relationship.

This week, Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki openly touched on the love/hate relationship she less-than-enjoys with Fox News’ White House Correspondent Peter Doocy, during an appearance on the popular Pod Save America podcast.

Over the last almost year and a half, we’ve watched Psaki handle Doocy and his dumb questions with a level of poise and grace that, frankly, I don’t believe I could personally muster for the guy if my life depended on it. He’s generally nothing but childish, aggravating, and rude when it comes to his interactions with the press secretary. But nevertheless, after everything the Fox talking head has put her through, Jen still managed to come up with a “nice” story to tell about her Fox frenemy on the podcast — but only after she made it well known that she agrees with President Biden’s recent sentiment, Peter Doocy can certainly be a real “son of a b*tch.”

Back in January, President Biden was caught on a hot mic calling the Fox White House correspondent a “stupid son of a bitch” over a question Doocy posed to the president regarding inflation. The podcast host asked Psaki about this infamous incident, to which Jen replied, “He works for a network that provides people with questions that, nothing personal to any individual, including Peter Doocy, but might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a b*tch.”

However, following her agreeance with the president, Jen went on to later tell a “nice Peter Doocy story,” when she told listeners that President Biden later called the Fox reporter and apologized for his remarks and complimented Dooxy for being gracious enough to accept his apology and not return an insult.

But, of course, no matter how nice Jen Psaki is, her critics are known for using every possible thing they can cook up as fuel to attack her. Her podcast remarks were certainly no exception to that rule.

The Spectator’s Stephen L. Miller said he believes Psaki’s podcast appearance is an ethical issue, given that she’s allegedly in negotiations with MSNBC for a role on the network.

“The White House Press Secretary has signed an MSNBC hosting deal while still at her job and is out doing a media tour and zero journalists have a problem with this,” Miller tweeted. “You deserve Elon Musk and frankly, worse. Just a completely corrupted irreparable industry.”

Fox News host John Roberts who formerly served as a White House correspondent during the Trump administration went on the defense of his colleague, stating, “[Peter Doocy] makes the decisions on what topics he wants to quiz you on, and develops the questions himself. His philosophy is a basic tenet of journalism. Comfort the afflicted, and afflict the comfortable. If that makes all of us ‘stupid s.o.b.s’, so be it.”

Frankly, we commend the press secretary for even coming up with anything nice to say about the likes of Peter Doocy at all.
