Republicans always seem to be outraged about innocuous things. Conservatives were mad that Vice President Kamala Harris bought a pot while she was in Paris recently. And now they’re angry that President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden spent Thanksgiving in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Spending the Thanksgiving holiday on the Massachusetts island is a decades-long family tradition for the Bidens, but Rep. Jim Jordan took issue with it on Twitter.
“Biden is eating lobster in Nantucket for Thanksgiving, while you struggle to afford groceries at home,” Jordan falsely said.

Look, I love lobster and wouldn’t criticize anyone for eating it, but what he said is just a flat-out lie. The Bidens ate thyme-roasted turkey, “Grandmom Jacobs’ savory stuffing,” classic turkey gravy, roasted vegetables, sweet potatoes, kale, button mushrooms, and cranberry relish, along with apple, pumpkin, and coconut cream pie. Oh, and chocolate chip ice cream.
The Biden family Thanksgiving dinner menu has been shared by the White House. Making the menu public is itself a holiday tradition. pic.twitter.com/VGHHAl4bDt

The so called “President” golfing while refrigerator trucks were overflowing with the bodies of deceased Americans was no big deal, right Gym?
But a real President spending Thanksgiving in Nantucket is an outrage?
To call you a hypocrite is unfair to hypocrites.

Ask Gym how his donors spent Thanksgiving. Then ask him about this. Does this guy look like he’s had a ride on an Amtrak to get to work? pic.twitter.com/0sitPC0tFd

By all metrics, we are currently experiencing the greatest economic recovery in decades. Real wages are up. Unemployment is down. Consumer spending is up. Millions of jobs have been added. The United States’ economic recovery is far outpacing the rest of the world.

Biden’s been going to Nantucket for 45 years and we are doing fine. Lowest unemployment rate since 1955.

Cool story bro. Now do the one where this clown gets his gullible supporters to give him lawyer fund money while he craps in a gold toilet pic.twitter.com/JJIaH8zzLi

Jordan being mad at President Biden for eating food on Thanksgiving has got to be one of the strangest feigned outrages yet from a Republican.
