Joe Biden Leaves The House For The First Time In Two Months To Lay Memorial Day Wreath, Makes Trump Look Anything But Presidential

This is what true presidential behavior looks like.

Former Vice President and presumed 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his wife Jill left their home for the first time in two months to honor our fallen heroes on Memorial Day, and both of them wore masks.

While President Donald Trump has refused to wear a mask and even went golfing over the weekend, the Bidens have hunkered down at home in accordance with social distancing guidelines as the coronavirus pandemic rages on. Nearly 100,000 Americans are dead because of the virus, and the death toll is only going to rise as many states reopen too prematurely.

Unlike Trump, Biden has been listening to health experts and doing his part to prevent the spread of the virus. On Memorial Day, as Trump continued to refuse to wear a mask and released a phony Memorial Day message, Biden acted like a real president should — by laying a wreath in remembrance of those who died for our country, all while he and his wife wore masks.

Biden enjoyed being out of his house for once and shared a few words about the sacrifice men and women in uniform have made to keep our country free.

Americans instantly recognized something they have not seen since Trump took office: presidential behavior.

For just a brief time, Americans were able to witness some normalcy. And they can have it every day over the next four years if they elect Biden president in November.
