Just yesterday, we reported that federal prosecutors are now calling on the courts to throw the proverbial book former 19 Kids and Counting star, Josh Duggar, as they seek the maximum 20-year sentence for the eldest Duggar child who was convicted on charges of receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography back in December of 2021.
Now, it looks like Duggar’s mommy is scrambling to go to bat for her child molesting son, as People Magazine reports the Duggar family matriarch has penned a dramatic letter, in which she begs a federal judge to show leniency in sentencing her eldest son on his child pornography charges.
Ahead of Duggar’s May 25th sentencing date, Michelle Duggar has sent a letter to Judge Timothy L. Brooks of the Western District of Arkansas Federal Court. In this letter, the former 19 Kids and Counting mother wrote that she wanted to “share some things about Joshua’s character that may not be fully known to the court” before the 55-year-old noted that she hopes “a fair and just sentence is determined.”
The letter was chock full of nothing more than a laundry list of her eldest child molesting son’s “positive” attributes.

“Joshua has a tender heart and he is compassionate toward others,” Michelle wrote.
“If someone is having a difficult time, he is one of the first to encourage or try to help them in a tangible way. He and his wife and children have helped many others by doing cleaning and repair projects and lending a helping hand.”
“Joshua has always been a positive and upbeat person,” the Duggar mom continued. “He is wise financially — saving money for the future and purposing not to go into debt. He is a good provider for his family, working diligently and thinking of creative ways to support and take care of his wife and children. He is also generous and shares his resources with others in need.”
Michelle Duggar goes on to call her eldest child an “organized and diligent individual” who “has set a good example of applying himself eagerly to his work and in many other responsibilities that he carries as a husband and father.”
She went on to brag about Josh’s alleged commitment and dedication to his wife Anna and their children, bragging that they “have built forts, learned how to work on bicycles and other vehicles, gone camping, hiked, fished, and played countless games and sports — together!”
Michelle wrapped up the letter with her request that her son is “reunited with his wife and family in a timely manner.” To put the icing on this sickening cake, the 55-year-old mother of 19 signed the dot of the “i” in her name with a heart.
In addition to the child pornography charges, Josh Duggar was previously embroiled in an infamous, disgusting scandal when it was revealed that he had molested several of his underage sisters as a teen and his parents and family covered it up.
Your mommy can’t get you out of this, Josh.
