Just When Trump Thought Things Couldnโ€™t Get More Embarrassing, A Pro-Trump Protest Outside The D.C. FBI Headquarters Was Apparently A Massive Flop โ€” Not A Single Soul Showed Up

OUCH.

Weโ€™ve reached a point over the last week and a half or so that youโ€™d really begin to think that things couldnโ€™t possibly get much worse for Donald Trump. The state of the former guyโ€™s life is about as rock bottom as rock bottom gets. But weโ€™ve learned the hard way over the years (and sometimes the hilarious way) that it can always, always get worse.

And it got worse.

Following the bombshell raid on the ex-presidentโ€™s Palm Beach compound, his supporters were quick to swing into action, most of them just effectively making complete and utter asses out of themselves, while others have gotten downright violent โ€” ranging from the scene outside of Mar-a-Lago in the immediate aftermath of the raid, to the MAGA-loving man who attacked the Ohio FBI headquarters in Cincinnati, presumably as a result of the FBI raid against the ex-president.

But as it turns out, the support for the former guy isnโ€™t as resounding as Iโ€™m sure he hopes.

New reporting out from the Daily Beast this weekend is shaping up to be pretty humiliating for the scandal-ridden ex-president after a pro-Trump rally that was slated for out in front of the FBIโ€™s Washington, D.C. headquarters on Sunday turned out to be a massive, embarrassing flop โ€” literally, not a single soul showed up.

The Beast reports:

A pro-Trump protest in front of the FBIโ€™s Washington, D.C. headquarters flopped on Sunday with no one showing up at the event. After days of promotion within right-wing media, the far-right Falun Gong-backed Epoch Times reported Thursday that the event had been canceled, citing fears it might be co-opted. Chatter in pro-Trump forums had also speculated the event might be a โ€˜trap.โ€™ By Sunday afternoon, not a single protester had gathered, leaving a larger than usual group of FBI police officers to speak among themselves. Nevertheless, threats continue to be directed at the federal agency. On Friday night, ex-Trump aide Garrett Ziegler attempted to sic MAGA fans on the families of the FBI agents he believed to have searched Donald Trumpโ€™s Mar-a-Lago home. โ€˜We have to have faces,โ€™ he said. โ€˜There are people ruining America, and they have names, and emails, and addresses.'โ€

Zachary Petrizzo, a politics reporter with the publication, had the embarrassing photo:

Social media was living for the humiliation:

Donald Trumpโ€™s dog days are over.
