Karoline Leavitt walked into her Fox News interview on Monday evening with a prepared set of talking points and one very specific phrase she needed to remember. She had written it down in her media van, then photographed the note and posted it to her own Instagram Story before the segment even aired.
The phrase was “extreme liberal Democrats,” a description apparently so natural and spontaneous that Leavitt needed a written reminder to make sure she said it on television.
Critics spotted the photograph within minutes of it going up.
Extreme liberalism, that supposed to scare people?

People don’t need to write notes to remember the truth. People need to write notes to remember the lies they’ve told.

Because she says it so seldom?
No, she has to write it down because she doesn’t know what she’s talking about.
Why should she be any different from the rest of this ugly, corrupt, fiscally incompetent & non-democratic administration?— Fiona Kenny 🍁 (@fionakennyantiq) August 11, 2026
You’d think that she says that phrase so many times she wouldn’t need to write it down.

The note, however, was only the opening act.
Once the interview began, Leavitt delivered the full performance her preparation had promised. “These are radical, extreme liberals, socialists, communists, whatever you want to call them, Sean!” she told Hannity.
She warned that Democrats would turn the country into “a communist hellhole,” insisted that “this is no longer the Democrat Party of JFK,” and added: “Heck, this is not even the Democrat Party of Barack Obama.” She closed with a sweeping list of Democratic positions she attributed to the party, accusing them of wanting to abolish police, open the southern border, and raise taxes across the board.
Karoline Leavitt says today’s Democratic Party is no longer the party of JFK or even Barack Obama, warning it has been taken over by a radical far-left agenda:

Even some Fox News viewers were not convinced.
When you have nothing to offer as a political party, you try to create fear, hate and division using lies and propaganda.
That’s all the maga party has left.— John Acker (@AckerJohn95214) August 11, 2026
Fear Fear Fear. That’s all you pathetic Republicans have. Be afraid of this, be afraid of that. Republicans can’t name a single thing good that they’ve done for the people. All they can do is tell you who to hate and who to be afraid of.

The real problem arrived when Leavitt shifted to the economy.
Standing on a platform that millions of Americans interact with every week at the gas pump and the grocery store, she told Hannity: “Thanks to President Trump and Republicans and common sense policies across the board, our country is safer, our country more affordable.”
Viewers who have been tracking their own spending were not exactly convinced. “Gas prices are currently rising. It’s now $4 per gallon,” one person wrote.
Gas prices are currently rising, it’s now $4/gallon in the middle of nowhere in Ohio. Show this video to me when the gas is at $2/gallon, then i’ll believe the shit Trump is putting out

Consumer prices are up nearly 4% from last year, and median home prices have risen for 36 consecutive months.
