Kenosha Business Owner Claims He Refused To Meet With Trump Only To See The Man He Bought The Shop From 8 Year Ago Being Treated As The “Owner” In A Photo Op

Donald Trump has repeatedly branded Sen. Kamala Harris as “phony,” among other adjectives, but the president is the king of projection. For example, Trump traveled to Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Tuesday for a photo-op and to further divide this country. Trump took a look at a damaged area from the civil unrest that happened on his watch. According to TMJ4, when Tom Gram, the owner of Rode’s Camera Shop, declined to take part in a photo-op with the president, he later noticed that he was replaced with the owner of just the property itself, and Trump called him the “owner” of the shop.

“I think everything he does turns into a circus, and I just didn’t want to be involved in it,” Gram told TMJ4. Mr. Gram told the outlet that neither Trump nor John Rode III should have used his destroyed business for a political message.

“I think he needs to bring this country together rather than divide it,” Gram said.

As Trump toured the area, Rode praised the president’s response to the city’s protests, and we all know that Donald seeks adoration.

“I just appreciate President Trump coming today — everybody here does,” Rode said. “We’re so thankful we got the federal troops here. Once they got here, things did calm down quite a bit.”

Trump said: “A day earlier would have saved his store.”

Of course, though, “his store” is owned by Mr. Gram and not Mr. Rode.

Watch:

While Trump was in Kenosha, instead of calming the waters, he pledged $1 million to assist its law enforcement efforts as protests continue in the wake of Jacob Blake’s shooting on Aug. 23 to “do what you have to do.”

“We will provide $1 million to the Kenosha law enforcement so that you have some extra money to go out and do what you have to do,” Trump said.

And while Trump’s phony photo-op might not seem like a big deal to the president’s supporters, it’s just one more lie to add to the pile for the rest of us that prefer to have an honest leader, especially amid a number of national crises. If Trump is handling the civil unrest well as he claims, why does he need to lie? I prefer presidents that aren’t habitual liars.
