Over the past year, Lara Trump, Eric Trump’s allegedly better half, and the current co-chair of the Republican National Committee, insulted the family of the late Tom Petty by singing a rendition of his song, I Won’t Back Down. The song hit number 6 on iTunes Top 200. At least that’s what Eric Trump says, anyway. Then it plunged like a stone.
The song was briefly popular with the MAGA faithful, but then they stopped downloading it en masse and it faded from memory, notes MeidasTouchNetwork. Her version was so awful that one reviewer reported: “My daughter’s cat fled in horror the instant this nasally screech began.”
But she didn’t just scare this cat, as Renegade Cowboy notes:
Lolololololololol cats everywhere freaking out and dogs can't stop howling

Other reviews were even less flattering, calling her song a “cheap nasally knockoff,” “just autotune with a country twang,” “a hideous cover,” and “the worst cover” ever heard. Reviewers also derided her as “shrill” and “a hack.”

Now she’s back with another song and it’s even worse than the first one. I don’t know the name of the song and I only understand about half of the words. Even worse, this time around she’s even more nasal than before. I mean, it’s just plain dogawful.
Lol. This is the co-chair of the RNC.

And once again, reviewers on X were brutal.
“What is this?” asked Reese.
“Narcissism and Vanity,” replied Peter Henlein, the post’s author.
Narcissism and Vanity.

“For the life of me, both personally AND as a behaviorist, I don’t understand how this furthers any messaging that could possibly improve chances of winning an election, whereas I absolutely CAN understand how it furthers the notion of unseriousness and hurts chances of winning,” observes The Shallow State.

Auriandra notes: The RNC is now a fully owned subsidiary of Trump Inc.”

I think Auriandra has a point. The Trumps are a family of grifters, and Lara is no different. She received a good brow-beating last May after she released a loyalty card featuring dear old father-in-law, Donald Trump, according to Newsweek.
The METAL Trump Black Card is for the top 1% of True Trump Republicans.
But these won’t be around forever.
Once we’re sold out, we will not be making ANY MORE!

This led Ron Filipkowski, editor-in-chief of Meidas Touch to observe:
“The Republican Party is in the hands of carnival barkers, hucksters, grifters and con artists. The “limited edition” Trump black card. And the rubes keep sending them their money.”
Well, yup. Trump supporters are gullible. Others on X posted:

Did I mention that Lara earns a cool $163,000 working as co-chair of the RNC? Lara Trump may have a crappy singing voice but she’s an expert at grifting.
