Boy, the scandal just won’t stop, can’t stop for Lauren Boebert these days…
It’s certainly no we-kept secret at this point that the controversial Colorado Republican Congresswoman is nooo stranger to her fair share of scandals these days — as the congresswoman has been neck-deep in everything from her son’s teen pregnancy to her highly publicized divorce to the apparent handjob in a crowded theater. In fact, the scandal has gotten so intense for Lauren that she recently made the sudden, last-ditch, and frankly desperate decision to hopscotch her next election over to CO’s 4th, more conservative district, instead of running to maintain her seat in the 3rd district, in what can only be described as a last-ditch effort to save a political career that’s swirling the toilet as we speak.
Most recently, however, Lauren has been caught up in real mess between herself and her ex-husband once again, after multiple reports confirmed that the former couple got into a physical altercation at a local restaurant that ended with her ex-husband, Jayson Boebert, calling the police and claiming to have been a victim of “domestic violence.”
The police responded to the Miner’s Claim in Silt, CO, following the 911 call. No arrests were made that night, but law enforcement officials did confirm an “active investigation” into the domestic violence allegations.

Just yesterday, we reported that Jayson Boebert had gone public with his side of the restaurant fight story, in which he never recanted his claim that Lauren hit him, but did express supposed deep regret at how it all went down and said that he went to the eatery with the intention of getting Lauren to take him back as her husband.
However, it looks like that won’t be happening any time soon, as new reports are now confirming that Jayson Boebert has been arrested.
Just three days after the alleged domestic violence incident, CBS News confirms that Jayson Boebert was arrested on multiple charges on Tuesday and subsequently released on a $2,500 bond. The arrest and release were confirmed by Garfield County Jail records.
Court records show that Jayson was arrested on six charges, including prohibited use of weapons, third-degree assault, and obstructing a peace officer.
Jayson Boebert is no stranger to run-ins with the law, with his most infamous incident being his 2004 arrest for exposing his genitals to two women at a bowling alley. The congresswoman’s now ex-husband pleaded guilty to public indecency and lewd exposure and served four days in jail. Just one month later, Jayson was booked on domestic violence charges against a then-17-year-old Lauren and served 7 days in jail.
But, Lauren is no princess either, as the congresswoman herself was charged with third-degree assault, criminal mischief, and underage drinking charges in May 2004 in connection to an incident at her future ex-husband’s home, in which she scratched Jayson’s face and caused damage to his residence.
Most recently, Lauren was slapped with charges of careless driving and operating an unsafe vehicle after she rolled her truck into a ditch in September 2016.
At this point, we could elect literal turnips to Congress and get better results.
