Lauren Boebert’s ex-husband has officially broken his silence after reports broke confirming that the ex-couple and cop-parents got into a physical altercation at a local CO restaurant that ultimately resulted in Jayson Boebert calling the police on his ex-wife, claiming to be a victim of domestic violence.
Recently, multiple news outlets confirmed that Lauren and Jayson Boebert got into a physical altercation at the Miner’s Claim in Silt, CO, following a bombshell post on X (formerly known as Twitter) from tache American Muckrakers PAC, claiming the congresswoman “punched her ex-husband Jayson in the nose 2 times and then continued to beat him up.”
While the details of the aforementioned social media post haven’t been verified, multiple outlets have confirmed that a physical incident did take place at the eatery, and law enforcement officials have additionally verified that an active investigation has been launched into the alleged domestic violence incident.
There was a lot of back and forth between his and her side of the story, with Jayson even telling the Daily Beast that the PAC post was correct that his ex-wife had “punched” him in the face while Lauren maintains that her ex-husband was being “lewd” and “disrespectful” and she was forced to “put her hand in his face” after Jayson “made a motion” towards his ex-wife, “to grab her.”

However, neither of them has really spoken out with the fine-tuned details of their version of the story… Until now.
Jayson Boebert spoke with the alternative Colorado news outlet Westword recently and spilled the tea on his version of events — and, frankly, it’s a bit disturbing.
“I was telling her I want her back,” Jayson told the publication of the physical altercation that rocked the media world over the weekend.
Jayson never recanted his claim that Lauren hit him, but did express supposed deep regret at how it all went down.
“I wish this all hadn’t happened,” Jayson said of the highly publicized fight. “I should have handled it more responsibly.”
More specifically, it seems that Boebert really wishes he hadn’t called the cops on his ex-wife.
“She’s a great person,” Jayson said of the woman who allegedly decked him in the face in front of God and everybody. “I know it’s just been a lot of bad things happening to her.”
Of course, this is far from the first scandal to rock Lauren Boebert in recent months, as the congresswoman has been neck deep in everything from her son’s teen pregnancy to her highly publicized divorce to the apparent handjob in a crowded theater. In fact, the scandal has gotten so intense for Lauren that she recently made the sudden, last-ditch, and frankly desperate decision to hopscotch her next election over to CO’s 4th, more conservative district, instead of running to maintain her seat in the 3rd district, in what can only be described as a last-ditch effort to save a political career that’s swirling the toilet as we speak.
But nevertheless, Jayson told Westword, “A man needs respect and a woman needs love. That’s kind of how it’s written in the Bible,” as he was apparently hoping to reconcile and get back together with his ex-wife during the restaurant fiasco.
