It is beyond outrageous that he is still ignoring the problem and pretending everything is fine.

Despite all the problems states are having getting coronavirus tests, leaked audio obtained by CBS News revealed that he is still denying that there are any such problems even after Montana Governor Steve Bullock flat out told him his state lacked tests.

The United States currently leads the world in coronavirus cases with over 160,000. Over 3,000 Americans have died, surpassing the number that died on 9/11. Both numbers are still rising, but states still don’t have enough tests for everyone, resulting in hospitals having to deny tests unless people have all the symptoms, especially a fever.

On Monday, Trump participated in a conference call with the nation’s governors to discuss the pandemic. That’s when Bullock, a Democrat, told Trump that his state does not “have enough supplies to even do the testing.”

“Literally we are one day away, if we don’t get test kits from the CDC, that we wouldn’t be able to do testing in Montana,” he warned.

Montana is a red state that voted for Trump in 2016.

But Trump pretended he hadn’t heard any such complaints and focused on bragging about the United States surpassing South Korea as the nation that has tested more people than any other, regardless of the fact that the population of the United States is far bigger than South Korea.

“I haven’t heard about testing in weeks,” Trump claimed. “We’ve tested more now than any nation in the world. We’ve got these great tests and we come out with another one tomorrow that’s, you know, almost instantaneous testing. But I haven’t heard about testing being a problem.”

Here’s the audio via Twitter:

Trump clearly ignores bad news and remains in denial that his response to the pandemic has failed to rise to the occasion. States need enough tests to test everyone, but Trump has not delivered, and states are going to suffer for it because people could have the virus and not know it. And they will spread it, thus making the crisis worse than it could have been otherwise had Trump done his job.
