Trump will be along shortly to pitch a hissy fit over this one.

Folks, the 2020 presidential election is officially underway as states all across the nation tirelessly count votes to determine the future of this country. So far, it looks as though, while not as massive as we’d hoped, Joe Biden will be taking home a win when all of this is said and done. And while Trump certainly isn’t happy with the mere idea of that, it seems his own minions sort of knew this was coming.

Recently, with this year’s presidential election just a few short weeks away at the time, Lindsey Graham may have removed his mouth from the bottom of Donald Trump’s shoe just long enough to stick his own foot in it — at least when it comes to his portrayed loyalty to his Dear Leader.

During a round of confirmation hearings for Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Amy Coney Barrett, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham found himself in a tussle with Senator and former presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar — during which he openly asserted his belief that Democrats have a damn good chance at winning the impending election.

Klobuchar began by once again objecting to the GOP’s move to confirm Barrett just literal days before the election.

“I just don’t think you can separate this from the election that we are in,” she stated. “I don’t come out of this with cries of defeat? You know why? Because it’s motivating more people to vote. You chose to do it in the middle of an election so let’s all go out there and vote. That’s what happening because this should not be Donald Trump’s judge.”

Lindsey attempted to argue that he voted for two of President Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominees but unsurprisingly did not mention the fact that Judge Merrick Garland was never even allowed a hearing.

Speaking of Barrett, Graham said, “She’s somebody that a Republican would pick. Y’all have a good chance of winning the White House.”

Senator Klobuchar chimed in, saying, “Thank you for acknowledging that.”

“Yeah, I think it’s true,” Graham responded.

I don’t know about you, but something tells me Donald Trump won’t care for this one little bit.
