A forensic lip reader has now identified the words President Trump reportedly exchanged with a Marine One pilot Monday, putting an end to days of guesswork over a clip that offered plenty of visuals but zero audio.
The footage shows Trump standing at the Marine One entrance, finger jabbing toward the cockpit, mid-argument with the pilot after flying back from a weekend at his Bedminster golf club.
Lip reader Nicola Hickling is the one who worked it out.
She told The Mirror US that Trump’s mouth stayed out of view for the first ten seconds of the exchange, making those opening seconds impossible to read. Around the twelve-second mark, his face turned just enough for her to catch something clear. “That’s enough for me today,” he appears to say, before adding, as he turns to leave, “We’re done.”

Whatever “done” meant, it apparently didn’t extend to a salute. Trump walked past two Marines stationed on either side of the staircase, both holding their positions, and kept moving without acknowledging either one, his eyes fixed on the ground the whole way down.

Body language expert Judi James took her own pass at the footage for the same outlet, and her read added some texture to the story.
She noted that Trump “walks away from the helicopter looking moody and pre-occupied,” pointing out his dropped shoulders and a jacket he tried, unsuccessfully, to pull closed. According to James, the repeated hand motion, a flat palm chopping downward again and again, looked less connected to general frustration and closer to a specific complaint about how the helicopter had landed.
Naturally, the internet had already filled in its own blanks before the lip reader showed up.
This isn’t normal presidential behavior. It’s a pattern of visible decline. And the Constitution gives us a remedy when a president can’t meet the duties of the office. That’s the 25th Amendment. It exists for exactly this scenario.

That same day, Trump escalated his ongoing dispute with Canada, posting a furious message on Truth Social threatening to pull Bombardier planes from the American market entirely. “NO MORE SELLING BOMBARDIER IN THE UNITED STATES!” he wrote, accusing the company of relying on American buyers while Canada shut out U.S. banks and businesses. He closed the post with a string of demands in all caps, ending on “AMERICA FIRST!” for good measure.
