Florida MAGA Rep. Matt Gaetz is so toxic that his former staffers have been scrubbing his name from their résumés and it’s not all that surprising. Gaetz’s close associate Joel Greenberg, a former Seminole County, Florida, tax commissioner, struck a deal with federal prosecutors to reduce his criminal case. He plans to help investigators in their sprawling investigation that includes a sex trafficking probe. Witnesses have said that Gaetz snorted cocaine and had sex with an escort who was paid with campaign money.
Insider reports that at least 25 of Gaetz’s former congressional staffers do not mention the Florida Republican’s name on their LinkedIn pages.
“In a town where people spend all day and all night long bragging about the fact that they work on Capitol Hill, this is really weird,” said Democratic Senate aide Jim Manley.
A former Republican congressional aide said that Gaetz’s former staffers made a good decision to scrub his name from their résumés.
“There is literally no upside to putting Gaetz on your résumé,” the former GOP staffer said. “You wouldn’t want to say, ‘Hey future employer, I worked for a guy who was a potential sex trafficker. It’s very savvy to leave that name off.”

A Gaetz spokesman lashed out at the media, calling the media “stalkers” for reporting on this.
“The only way the media would know this is if they are trawling through former Capitol staffers’ social media pages,” Gaetz spokesman Harlan Hill said. “The only reason those staffers want to keep certain information away from their social media pages is because the stalkers in the corporate media keep harassing them in a continued, partisan effort to undermine Rep. Gaetz. This creepy media behavior will be made very public soon. Stay tuned.”
Well, Harlan Hill has his own issues, and I wasn’t surprised when I found out he’s working for Gaetz. Last November, he called a reporter a “cunt” for fact-checking Donald Trump. Fox News cut ties with Hill after he called Kamala Harris “an insufferable lying b—-.” So, Gaetz and Hill kind of belong together.
