The hearings within Congress on the coronavirus pandemic have felt endless lately, and that’s coming from someone simply watching them on YouTube. I can only imagine how it feels to have to sit in them day in and day out. But I’d venture to say it’s quickly becoming monotonous and exhausting, especially if you’re a democrat forced to listen to the likes of GOP Representative Jim Jordan — who’s frankly notorious for making a complete and utter ass out of himself at every given opportunity.
And recently, one democrat had enough of it.
During a House Select Committee hearing on the coronavirus pandemic, Jim Jordan did what Jim Jordan does and behaved worse than a toddler when speaking to Dr. Anthony Fauci and Chairman Jim Clyburn. He behaved so badly, in fact, that Rep. Maxine Waters refused to take it anymore and told the GOP congressman to respect the chair and shut his mouth.
Jordan, the absolute fool that he is, used up his time demanding to know when CDC restrictions and guidelines in regard to the pandemic will be lifted so Americans can have their freedom back. There was a whole lot of back and forth between Jordan and Fauci before the doctor said that he doesn’t look at it from a liberty standpoint, but rather from that of a national health problem.

But Jordan wouldn’t take that for an answer, with smoke practically rolling from his ears, he continued to downright demand a specific date and time, despite Fauci’s multiple attempts to tell the GOP congressman that it was all dependent on the number of Americans to get vaccinated and the rate at which infections go down.
“My message, Congressman Jordan, is to get as many people vaccinated as quickly as we possibly can to get the level of infection in this country low, so that it is no longer a threat,” Fauci said.
Chairman Clyburn gaveled, signaling that Jordan’s time to speak was up, but in true GOP fashion, he refused to shut the hell up.
Chairman Clyburn responded to Jordan, which resulted in the Ohio lawmaker exploding on Clyburn and Fauci as another back and forth ensued. And that’s when Ms. Waters had enough.
“You need to respect the chair and shut your mouth!” Rep. Waters shouted at Jim Jordan.
Finally, someone said it.
