Melania Trump Tweeted Out A Happy Father’s Day To “All Dads And Father Figures” But Didn’t Specifically Mention One Particular Dad, Leaving Social Media With A Lot Of Thoughts

Former First Lady Melania Trump was the subject of a variety of social media backlash over the weekend after she tweeted out a somewhat bizarre Father’s Day post that left Americans with a hell of a lot of thoughts.

To mark the holiday meant to honor and celebrate dads of all shapes and sizes yesterday, Melania took to her Twitter account and posted, “Wishing all the dads and father figures a #HappyFathersDay!”

The responses to Mel’s somewhat bizarre and cold tweet were a bit of a mixed bag, to say the least. But suffice it to say, there were very few tweets in her comments that were, well, supportive in much of any way:

Of course, it’s impossible to ignore the fact that Melania’s literal husband and father of her only child wasn’t even mentioned in this half-assed Father’s Day tweet.

Honestly, the cringe is almost painful.
