After Donald Trump lashed out at teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg, who has Asperger’s syndrome, his Be Best-y wife remained silent, even though she blasted a legal scholar for having the audacity to mention her son Barron’s name. The “president” just couldn’t handle the 16-year-old being named Time magazine’s Person of the Year.

Everything has to be about him and there’s no room for anyone else in his narcissistic world. Trump was a finalist for Time’s 2019 nomination, but the young climate activist beat him, so the “president” unleashed a tweet to mock her.

While the Third Lady remained silent, former First Lady Michelle Obama showed the world how to Be Best by sending Greta a message via Twitter to encourage the young activist. Mrs. Obama did not mention Trump by name but it’s obvious she was defending Thunberg after the “president” tried to demean her.

“@GretaThunberg, don’t let anyone dim your light,” Mrs. Obama tweeted. “Like the girls I’ve met in Vietnam and all over the world, you have so much to offer us all. Ignore the doubters and know that millions of people are cheering you on.”

The president’s eldest son, Donny Jr., also used his Twitter account to call Thunberg “a marketing gimmick” and suggested the activists in Hong Kong should have won the nomination.

Instead of responding to either of the Trumps, Thunberg quietly changed her profile on Twitter to describe herself as a “teenager working on her anger management problem.” Those were the same words the “president” used to describe her, but the teenager obviously decided to be the adult in the room by not participating in a Twitter slap-fight with Don Jr. or his incredibly juvenile father.

During these times when the “president” of the United States, who has a massive Twitter following, ridicules a 16-year-old girl, Mrs. Obama’s inspirational tweet was well-received on the social media platform.

Melania Trump launched her “Be Best” campaign to encourage children to be kind on social media and speak “with respect and compassion,” but that doesn’t seem to apply to her petulant septuagenarian husband or her trophy-hunting, piss-poor excuse of a stepson.
