Mike Pompeo Appears To Lose His Cool On Reporter After She Asked Why Other Countries Don’t Agree With His China Intel

He's at it again.

Trump’s Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has a nasty little habit of letting his temper get away from him, especially when it comes to reporters.

We won’t soon forget the explosive ordeal between the Secretary of State and NPR reporter Mary Louise Kelly — in which Pompeo screamed at her, demanded that she point out Ukraine on a map, and publicly accused her of lying to him about recording the interview after she released proof of his temper tantrum to the world.

Unsurprisingly, it caused a whole lot of stir in the media, none of which was flattering to Pompeo in any way.

But it seems he still didn’t learn his lesson from the last go-around, as Trump’s Secretary of State has once again lost his head on a reporter who dared to question him. Frankly, I’m beginning to see why Pompeo gets along so well in the Trump administration.

Pompeo has spent the last few weeks now touting the ridiculous and frankly unproven claim that the deadly coronavirus originated in a lab in China and was released as some sort of weapon.

During a press conference today, a reporter boldly asked Pompeo what he thought about the fact that government officials from the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand have all disagreed with his ridiculous assertions and declared Pompeo’s claims “unlikely.”

As usual, the Secretary of State responded with a vicious attack against the reporter.

“Your efforts to spend your whole life trying to drive a little wedge between senior American officials, it’s just, it’s just, it’s just false!” Pompeo fired back.

On a segment with Canada’s CTV this week, one Western diplomat explained that the consensus regarding the origin of COVID-19 is still a transmission from animals into humans, despite what the Secretary of State continues to try to claim.

“We think it’s highly unlikely it was an accident,” the diplomat with knowledge of the intelligence stated. “It is highly likely it was naturally occurring and that the human infection was from natural human and animal interaction.”
