While most of us were not under any sort of delusion about how bad Donald Trump and the Republican Party would be for America, what the GOP has become after Brett Kavanaugh was voted into the Supreme Court has surprised all of us.

Clearly drunk with pride over the fact that they were able to put yet another man who has been accused of sexual assault by multiple women into one of the country’s highest, most respected positions, the Republican Party has taken on a new life. Now that the bar has been set so low, top Republicans have a new “sky is the limit” attitude about what kind of corrupt morons they can get into power, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is leading that charge.

Trump was recently joined at a rally by McConnell, who made an incredibly disturbing statement about the future of the Supreme Court and this country. Joining Trump on stage, McConnell told Trump to continue sending him SCOTUS nominees so that the Senate could confirm them and “change the courts forever.”

If this doesn’t make you vote in November, nothing will. America’s future and all the progress we’ve made is being directly threatened and we cannot stand for it. Terrified by what McConnell was suggesting for the country, Americans spoke out in concern on Twitter:

The Republican Party needs to be stopped in the midterm elections. This could be the election that decides the rest of history.
