An MSNBC reporter put one of Donald Trump’s top-ranking former officials directly in his place this week after the former Trump cabinet member raged at one of the network’s reporters and wouldn’t stop whining about the January 6th House Select Committee’s upcoming public hearing.
MSNBC’s Katie Phang recently penned a piece in which she highlighted the numerous January 6th attackers who remain unindicted as the US Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation continue to track them down and hold them accountable for their heinous crimes against this country. Phang’s article focused mainly on the actions perpetrated by the four Proud Boys linked to Henry “Enrique” Tarrio who were finally officially indicted this week.
Apparently, this article really hurt Donald Trump’s acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, who retweeted Phang’s article with MSNBC and accused the reporter of just wanting to arrest everyone who was at the Capitol on January 6th, while simultaneously attempting to downplay the horrifying actions of the Proud Boys on that fateful day.
Katie Phang calls for arresting anyone who went to the January 6th rally.
Phang has become unhinged and reckless since joining NBC. Watch her hits before joining MSNBC.
Phang went from a conservative at Fox to a raging Progressive as soon as she was hired by MSNBC. https://t.co/7zs9y9OAOK

Phang was having no part of it, firing back on Twitter, “It was an INSURRECTION, not a rally. Cry harder.”
It was an INSURRECTION, not a rally.
Cry harder.

Ridicule would be an understatement for what happened to Richard in the comments section:
No, he’s literally not worth the time or the energy.
But, what IS interesting is how he and all of those other MAGATs are furiously working to try to deflect from the upcoming 1/6 hearings. None of this is surprising.

Insurrectionists should be arrested and face penalties. How is this a difficult concept to grasp? https://t.co/F2xUPFwTrD

I don’t always go to Trump rallies, but when I do I bring a noose for his Vice President.
