MTG Is Clearly Worked Up By Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s Public Scolding Over Her Disgustingly Obnoxious Behavior During SOTU Address: “I’m Not Sorry One Bit!”

Things are getting messy, rather quickly.

Highly controversial GA Republican House Rep. and some of her fellow GOP lawmakers got a rather milquetoast public scolding from their newly-appointed Speaker of the House, California Republican Kevin McCarthy, over their extremely obnoxious behavior and petulant heckling during President Biden’s second State of the Union address before Congress last night.

I can only imagine that the whole ordeal has been extremely humiliating for McCarthy, whose path to replacing Nancy Pelosi was a long, tumultuous, and extremely humiliating one, as it took the California Republican a record-breaking 15 ballots, that drug on for days, to finally pull in enough support to win the vote, by the skin of his teeth. Especially when you consider the fact that Kevin was seen attempting to shush, signal, and gain some control over his GOP House members in the midst of the address multiple times, to absolutely no avail. McCarthy attempted to exert some semblance of control this morning when he went on Fox News and rather sheepishly chastised his people for taking President Biden’s “bait” during last night’s speech.

Kevin’s personal political optics have been put in direct jeopardy as a result of his members’ obnoxious behavior, as it couldn’t be more clear at this point that his party members are severely lacking in any genuine respect for him, meaning he has very little control over the very people he’s supposed to be leading.

But it looks like ole Marjorie Taylor Greene couldn’t give a damn less about any of that.

Following Kevin’s little scolding on Fox News this morning, CNN’s Manu Raju caught up with Greene in the Capitol and, despite her disturbingly close relationship with McCarthy these days, the QAnon Congresswoman seemed less than thrilled by the House Speaker’s remarks.

“I did not take any bait,” Greene shot back in defense when she was questioned about McCarthy’s morning rebuke of her behavior. “I am a representative of the people, that is what I did last night. I got so many messages from people in my district and it was like I won my election again! People are pissed off! For the president of the United States to come into the people’s house and lie about the economy, the border, and act like he is terrified of China and unwilling to talk about the fact that they spied on us!”

Towards the end of her chat with Raju, Greene tried to smooth things over by attempting to say that she didn’t think the GOP House Speaker was “upset with any of us” for obnoxiously “expressing” themselves during the SOTU address; but not before she made it damn clear that either way, she wasn’t sorry for any of it.

“He got what he deserved,” Greene spit, “and I’m not sorry one bit!”
