Nancy Pelosi Explains Why She Won’t Bother Calling Trump During Coronavirus And It Makes Perfect Sense

She knows he's not worth it.

As Donald Trump continues to cling tight to his grudge against Nancy Pelosi, after she led the charge that resulted in Trump’s formal, forever impeachment, the House Speaker recently revealed how she’s getting around Donnie’s bad attitude when it comes to the government’s response to the coronavirus outbreak in the United States.

Spoiler alert — it doesn’t involve a phone call.

During a recent segment with MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace, the host asked the House Speaker if it was “worth being the one who picks up the phone” to call Donald Trump and discuss the outbreak of the life-threatening virus that’s currently wreaking havoc on the United States, taking nearly 60,000 lives in its wake so far.

“Well, let me say ‘worth.’ What is the word ‘worth’? Would it change his behavior?” Pelosi responded to Wallace’s question.

“Has he ever said anything in our meetings that we’ve had about Dreamers, that he was going to get the job done and then he changed his mind, what he said about infrastructure and then he changed his mind, what he said about guns and then he changed his mind?” Nancy added during the segment.

The House Speaker went on to note that her time is better spent trying to speak to the president “in a public forum” as “that’s something he pays attention to.”

Pelosi wrapped up her statement by adding that, “time is the most finite quantity that we all have.”

It’s frankly sad that we live in a day and time where government officials know better than to even attempt to have an adult conversation with the man that’s “leading” our nation. They know that Trump’s grudges have always and will always get in the way of anything productive and they’ve quickly learned that trying to deal with Donald isn’t worth the waste in time. Pandemic or not.
