A bombshell report from The Atlantic gave us a glimpse inside the narcissistic mind of Donald Trump, a man who touts being a huge supporter of our military. Nothing about Donald is real. And while Trump rage-tweeted this morning to deny the report that details how the president denigrated members of the military, the story has been backed up by former Homeland Security chief of staff Miles Taylor, on the record.
The allegations in The Atlantic describe Trump’s multiple offensive comments toward fallen and captured U.S. service-members, including calling World War I dead at an American military cemetery in France as “losers” and “suckers” in 2018, was confirmed independently by the Associated Press.
And now, Fox News.

Per @JenGriffinFNC: This former official heard the President say about American veterans: “’What’s in it for them? They don’t make any money?’ It was a character flaw of the President: he could not understand why someone would die for their country, not worth it.”

Trump denied the allegations.
“This is more made up Fake News given by disgusting & jealous failures in a disgraceful attempt to influence the 2020 Election!” Trump tweeted late Thursday. “I’ve done more for the military than almost anyone else,” he added Friday in the Oval Office.
However, it’s difficult to deny given Trump’s past remarks. In 2015, Trump took his ongoing feud with Sen. John McCain to a jaw-dropping level, mocking the former GOP nominee for having been a prisoner of war and called him a “loser” for failing to win the White House in 2008.
“He was a war hero because he was captured,” Trump said at the 2015 Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa. “I like people who weren’t captured. He lost and let us down. I’ve never liked him as much after that.”
“I don’t like losers,” Trump added.
Trump had received multiple academic and medical deferments to avoid the draft during the Vietnam War. He’s a fortunate son, after all, with the privileges of a lifestyle most of us could never imagine. And even though he was born into a family of wealth, Trump went through corporate bankruptcy at least four times. With each tweet and outburst, it’s as if Trump is confirming the allegations levied against him. This is bad news for Trump because he’s been exposed for who he is just ahead of the election in November.
