Donald Trump has long touted himself as the biggest support of the United States military that this country has ever or likely will ever see — despite the fact that he’s repeatedly proven at every given opportunity, the exact opposite.

Over the course of this sorry excuse for a presidency, we’ve watched Trump disrespect our military service members in ways we simply never would have thought possible — even going so far as to allegedly allow Russia to place bounties on the heads of American soldiers.

And just when you think he’s finally reached a level of deplorable so deep and disgusting that he couldn’t possibly sink any lower, he proves us wrong, reaching a new, never-before-seen depth of depravity.

Today, a bombshell new report from The Atlantic finally gave us a glimpse into Donald Trump’s true feelings toward the military men and women who he claims to hold so dear.

The report opens by explaining that Trump’s 2018 decision to cancel a visit to Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris was not because “the helicopter couldn’t fly” in the weather and Secret Service wouldn’t drive him — but rather because Trump didn’t want to mess up his hair in the rain, and he didn’t feel that a visit to a cemetery was important anyway, as it was just filled with “losers.”

According to the report, citing four people with firsthand knowledge of the conversation that day, Trump said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.”

In a separate conversation but during the same trip, Trump allegedly “referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as ‘suckers’ for getting killed.”

The Atlantic report goes on to detail some of the most disgusting and disparaging comments you can imagine, made by Trump, aimed at the late Senator John McCain.

“We’re not going to support that loser’s funeral,” witnesses claim Trump said on the heels of McCain’s death. “What the fuck are we doing that for? Guy was a fucking loser.”

The sickening story was even picked up by MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow:

Just how many revelations such as this does this country have to bear witness to before we ALL realize what a monster Donald Trump really and truly is?
