Yet another new, tell-all book is once again exposing disgraced former President Donald Trump for the heinous individual he truly is — but this time, it’s even worse than what we were prepared for.

We all knew that Donald Trump’s departure from the White House was… less than ideal. He very publicly pitched numerous temper tantrums and hissy fits that gave us all a pretty good idea of how insane things actually were behind closed doors. However, even knowing what we do about the former guy, the revelations that came from one new tell-all book were absolutely mind-boggling.

Bob Woodward and Robert Costa recently penned a new book, Peril, in which they detail the struggle experienced by top GOPers as they tried to navigate getting Donald Trump out of the White House on the heels of his 2020 loss — complete with backstabbing, massive temper tantrums, and profanity-filled rants during tense phone calls as the Republican party attempted to somehow guide Trump out of the White House that was no longer rightfully his while trying to maintain their good graces with the man who rose to astounding power within their party in just 4 years.

The book tells of an exasperated former Attorney General Bill Barr, who allegedly said, “The problem is this stuff about the voting machines is just bullshit,” going on to call Trump’s three-ring circus of a legal team, “a bunch of clowns.”

Others tried to navigate things a bit more carefully as they hoped to still secure Trump’s help in the upcoming runoff elections, like KY Senator and former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who told Barr, according to the book, “I have to be gentle.”

However, Mitch’s good graces were temporary at best, as Trump reportedly called McConnell and “spewed expletives” after the KY GOP senator recognized Joe Biden as the rightful winner of the 2020 election in a floor speech. After some lengthy abuse over the phone from the soon-to-be-ex-president, McConnell allegedly ended the call with this, “You lost the election. The Electoral College has spoken.”

The tell-all book goes on to detail the strain between Trump and GOP House Leader Kevin McCarthy as Kevin tried his best to persuade Trump to call Joe Biden, ultimately telling the disgraced former guy, “I don’t know what’s happened to you in the last two months. … You’re not the same as you were for the last four years.”

Trump didn’t call and McCarthy ultimately went to Mar-a-Lago just nine days later in what appeared to be an attempt to get back on Donald’s good side.

Woodward and Costa go on to describe South Carolina GOP Senator Lindsey Graham “like an addiction counselor struggling to keep his patient from taking one more drink.”

Again, we knew that things were bad inside the Trump White House as Donald’s reign of terror came to its final close. But seriously… this is worse than we could’ve dreamt.
