In the aftermath of today’s breaking reporting, new details have now come out surrounding the death of Ivana Trump, the 73-year-old first wife of former President Donald Trump and mother to his eldest 3 children, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump.
The Daily Mail now reports:
Ivana Trump has died at the age of 73 after being found ‘unconscious and unresponsive’ in her New York City townhouse, hours before she had a hair salon appointment.
The socialite was found at the bottom of a set of stairs in her Manhattan home shortly before 1pm on Thursday by police conducting a wellness check, and investigators she may have fallen, possibly after suffering a medical episode. An official cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
Ivana spent her final days preparing for a long-awaited getaway to St. Tropez on Friday, and had planned a visit to her usual hair stylist on the day she was found dead, an employee at the salon told DailyMail.com.”
Donald Trump’s middle son, the youngest he shared with his first wife Ivana, was spotted coming out of his mother’s Manhattan home today following the news of Ivana’s death, flanked by his wife, Lara Trump.
As he left his mother’s Upper East Side home near Central Park, Eric told reporters, “It’s been a very sad day, a very sad day.”

Eric released a statement to The Daily Mail on behalf of their family:
Our mother was an incredible woman – a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend. Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion and determination. She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children and ten grandchildren.”
Ex-President Donald Trump was one of the first to speak out and respond to Ivana’s death.
The publication goes on to report, “Detectives believe Trump was fatally injured falling down the stairs, perhaps after suffering a medical episode, a police official told the Daily News. Two people familiar with the matter told AP that police believe her death was accidental. The medical examiner’s office will determine an official cause of death. Police said that Ivana was discovered unresponsive at 12.40 pm by cops who had been called to her Upper East Side townhouse on a wellness check, according to the New York Post. Authorities are investigating whether a cardiac arrest may have played a role in her death, the outlet reported.”
