This isn't a good look, buddy.

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz’s close associate Joel Greenberg, a former Seminole County, Florida, tax commissioner, struck a deal with federal prosecutors to reduce his criminal case and entered a guilty plea in court this week. Still, there are other Republicans that have caught prosecutors’ attention in the sprawling investigation. The Sheriff’s office released footage of Greenberg’s arrest after he went to his in-laws’ home in Jupiter, Florida.

Greenberg’s wife, Abby, left her husband to stay with her mother in Jupiter. However, Greenberg, as part of his bail agreement, was supposed to stay in Mary County.

According to the Daily Mail, Greenberg’s mother-in-law called 911 after he showed up at her home after being charged with 33 counts, including the sex trafficking of a minor. Greenberg’s mother-in-law can be heard telling the police on the call that he’s “freaking out.” Police quickly came to the residence and spoke with Greenberg’s visibly upset estranged wife.

“I went upstairs and said, ‘hey sweetheart.’…she turns over, and it’s not her!” Greenberg tells an officer in the footage. I’m like, ‘where’s my wife?!'”

Abby Greenberg is heard in the footage telling the police that she is afraid of her husband.

“I just haven’t moved in because I am really afraid…you know what happens when a person has nothing to lose?” she said.

“Yeah, I bet,” an officer tells Abby.

Watch:

According to Greenberg’s plea agreement, he entered a guilty plea to six charges, including sex trafficking of a child, production of a false ID, wire fraud, and stalking. In exchange, the federal government will dismiss 27 other counts.

Greenberg agreed to “cooperate fully with the United States in the investigation and prosecution of other persons” and to testify “fully and truthfully before any federal court proceeding or federal grand jury in connection with the charges in this case and other matters.” That could potentially spell trouble for Florida Republican MAGA Rep. Matt Gaetz, who is being scrutinized, too. One thing for sure is that Gaetz has some sleazy friends, and that includes former President Donald J. Trump.
