Maggie Haberman of the New York Times just gave us all a glimpse of what Donald Trump’s priorities are following the deadly insurrection inspired by the president, and the over three hundred and seventy-five Americans who have died from the coronavirus, not to mention the other crises we’re all suffering from.
According to an announcement from PGA of America President Jim Richerson Sunday night, the 2022 PGA Championship will not be played at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey. That news reportedly “gutted” the outgoing president, and according to Haberman, Trump is angry over the likely impeachment, but he’s more upset over the PGA announcement.
A lot has happened in the last week, including the president losing his Twitter feed, impeachment coming to the fore and the PGA withdrawing from Trump National. He’s “gutted” by the PGA move, a person close to the White House says.

The PGA made its announcement following the deadly insurrection last week that the president incited.
“It has become clear that conducting the PGA Championship at Trump Bedminster would be detrimental to the PGA of America brand, it would put at risk the PGA’s ability to deliver our many programs, and sustain the longevity of our mission,” Richerson said in a video address. “It was a decision made to ensure that PGA of America and the PGA Professionals can continue to lead and grow our great game for decades to come.”
Just about everything that’s happened to Trump, is due to what Trump has done. He’s not a victim. Trump’s Twitter account was permanently suspended after the deadly takeover of the Capitol. All of this was because of his actions. Still, Trump supporters somehow seem to think he’s a victim. But he’s a victim of his own circumstances. America rejected Donald Trump, and he confirmed why we did that: he’s more focused on a golfing matter than he is on the coronavirus, the disease he surrendered to without putting up a fight. And, he literally caused a deadly riot simply because he couldn’t accept the results of the election he clearly lost in a landslide to President-elect Joe Biden.
