NYT Reports That Trump’s Ohio Rally Fell Flat With Some Of His Fans As Video Appears To Show Them Leaving Early

Well, that's embarrassing.

Former President Donald Trump’s rally on Saturday evening in Northeast Ohio in a town with just over 5,000 people “fell flat,” as the New York Times described the event. The entire spectacle at the Lorain County Fairgrounds in Wellington was simply for revenge to rally against the Republican that voted to impeach Donald Trump. Trump listed his grievances for 90 minutes, hitting on all of his old worn-out talking points and lashing out at his critics and former rivals.

“Mr. Trump’s speech — low-key, digressive and nearly 90 minutes long — fell flat at times with an otherwise adoring audience,” the Times reports. “Scores of people left early as he bounced from topic to topic — immigration, Israel, Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s protective mask.”

“Do you miss me?” Mr. Trump asked. “They miss me,” he said.

The twice-impeached one-term president can talk, boy can he talk. That’s possibly the reason a lot of the attendees at the Ohio rally were seen leaving early.

MSNBC host Brian Williams talked about the New York Times article, saying that if you didn’t believe it, a video was taken by the left-leaning PAC, MeidasTouch, showing Trump supporters leaving the event while the former president was still talking.

“You may say ‘sure, what do you expect from the radical leftwing mainstream media?'” Williams explained. “And you’d be right, except there is video.”

Williams shared the clip of Trump supporters leaving the fairgrounds as the former president was still talking. The host said, “You can still hear his voice in the background there as the president relitigated his loss in Arizona. As you saw, people’s thoughts turned to ‘where did we park?'”

Williams also spoke of part of Trump’s confusing speech in which the former president said, “We sent a brave young man from Ohio to a plant.” It’s odd, though, that it took four years for Trump supporters to get bored with the former president’s regurgitated rhetoric, but at least they’re finally starting to get it. As for the others, some of them have bought into Trump’s Big Lie that the election was stolen from him. And, of course, he has no evidence to back that wild-eyed claim up.
