Since finishing out his last term and (almost assuredly reluctantly) handing over the presidency to Donald Trump almost three years ago, former President Barack Obama has mostly kept to himself. Don’t get me wrong, he’s spoken out when it was necessary and continued his fight for what’s right outside the White House with the same dignity, respect, and grace that he employed during his eight years as the leader of this nation.
However, Obama has never been one to remain quiet when a great injustice is being perpetrated in this nation. And he’s made it strikingly clear that even those committed by his “replacement” are no exception to his ire when the time comes.
In a tweet praising states across the nation that are putting together their own plans to combat the coronavirus outbreak in their area despite Trump’s mass plans for the country, specifically calling out the state of Massachusetts for a job well done, Obama didn’t miss the opportunity to slam the guy that’s responsible for the mess we’re living through.
And while the former president didn’t call Trump out by name, there’s no denying who his dig was aimed at.

“While we continue to wait for a coherent national plan to navigate this pandemic, states like Massachusetts are beginning to adopt their own public health plans to combat this virus––before it’s too late,” Obama’s tweet read, accompanying a link to an article from the New Yorker detailing Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker’s aggressive plan for his state.

Frankly, we all know good and well who was responsible for putting together a “coherent national plan” and it’s no secret when it comes to who dropped the ball in that regard as we all continue to suffer through this mess.
Obama has never made it a habit to chastise the administration that took his place, but now that the American people he holds so dear to his heart are dying by the thousands because his “replacement” is a self-serving idiot, it seems he’s unwilling to remain quiet any longer.
Take a hint, Trump.
