One political analyst just said the quiet part loud about Donald J. Trump this morning, calling him a “slumlord,” while discussing the ex-president’s recent, disgusting attack against President Joe Biden.

During an appearance on this morning’s segment of The Weekend, MSNBC political analyst Richard Stengel spoke with the co-hosts of the show and drew comparisons between President Biden’s recent meeting with NATO leaders while Trump was simultaneously hosting Hungarian strongman Viktor Orbán at his luxury Mar-a-Lago resort and post-White House home.

Stengel was quick to note the rumblings and rumors that NATO nations will outright refuse to share pertinent intel with the Trump Administration, if the convicted felon is successful in taking back the White House in November, due to very real and valid fears concerning what Donald Trump would do with that sensitive and often dangerous information.

This topic eventually led Stengel, a native New Yorker, to remind viewers of Donald’s jaded history as a real estate developer in the Big Apple — where, according to reporting from CNN, Trump was a “nightmare landlord” who once went so far as to cut off the heat and water in one of his many properties, leading to an onslaught of lawsuits and a hefty settlement.

Speaking of Trump’s tumultuous relationship with NATO, Stengel said, “The Europeans are appalled. They see Donald Trump as the greatest security risk on the planet. They are not going to be sharing their information with the U.S.”

“This idea of weakening NATO, you guys mentioned it, it makes me laugh too when I hear Donald Trump say, those NATO nations are delinquent, like they are paying rent,” he went on to add before joking, “Once a slumlord, always a slumlord. He does not understand it is about contributing 2% of their GDP for their military budget.”

Stengel was pointing back to Trump’s remarks earlier this week, when the ex-president said, “NATO members ‘were delinquent, having paid very little.'”
